Jayne from Chugiak, Alaska, won the raffle and choose the B22 “A Mother’s Heart Charm” (pictured above) on the Bangle Bracelets. BabyFeet then engraved her sons names on the back, and set the heart with her birthstone. BabyFeet and Jayne created the perfect keepsake.

Hello, It’s about time I write this letter of appreciation for and apology to Kristen of BabyFeet for the beautiful bracelet I won from the SIDS raffle.
I have Systemic Lupus, It’s a little known about but very incidious disease. It can rob you of your ability to think clearly or do any of the wonderful things you use to find pleasure in. You can remain looking quite well on the outside while your immune system is fighting away at its own internal parts making you feel very ill sometimes even fatal. Worse part is sometimes your own family members aren’t very supportive. It’s because of lack of education and funding . Please help in finding a cure for this terrible disease.
During our many emails over the detailing of the bracelet being made in memorial for my sons, I found I was letting Kristen in on alot of my woes and pity parties. Suprisingly, she contently listened and would email me back and make me laugh, which was much needed!!
The day came when Kristen told me me bracelet was on it’s way. I was so excited. When it arrived in the plain USPS box, I could hardly wait to open it.
When I ripped open that box, the FUN began! All this vibrant Alaska or antique rose colored create paper came bursting out of the box springing forward my beautifully, what came to my mind was, “Sugar and Spice and so Elegantly Nice”, pkg. and a baby bottom pink note sealed w/a heart congrat. me on my winnings. I picked up my box and, not really wanting to disturb the perfectly tied mocha colored bow, pulled on the box top hoping it would come off. But no, you had to untie that sweet little bow, so I did, and to my delight, yet another great surprise!! A beautiful milk chocolate colored satin drawstring pouch w/baby bottom pink edging sat in the center of the box. It looked like a chocolate rose bud w/pink tips about to unfurl. I gently picked it up and opened it and there in the center of all this baby bottom pink suede was my beautiful “piece of wearable art”. I slipped it on my wrist and it felt like silk on my arm. I’ll always love and appreciate the time and effort that Kristen took in creating my bracelet. I truely look at her work as an investment as she listens to you and creates a one of a kind piece just for you and then some!! Not only did I win a beautiful work of art that day, I also won a beautiful friendship in Kristen Marr. Thank you Kristen for all your support and hard work. May you go far in your efforts to help! Sincerely, Jayne PS I didn’t proof read this as I tire easily due to my lupus so I hope it makes sense and spelling is correct. Thank you all for your patience in reading my story!!
